Pressure has grasped occupants of Jakpa Road in the Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State as a 13-year-old young lady, Treasure Ofuya, has been accounted for missing.
The young lady was said to have disappeared after school hours last Wednesday.
Talking with columnists in Warri on Monday over Treasure’s unexpected vanishing, her mom, Faith, said she had a misconception with her young little girl the past evening over the abuse of her telephone and ownership of a Subscriber Identity Module card.
The mother said she was unable to learn if the young lady disappeared due to the misconception.
Confidence, in any case, expressed that one of her classmates asserted that Treasure said she was upset.
In any case, she kept up that she had done all inside her forces, including answering to the Divisional Police Station at Ekpan, contacting loved ones, just as checking the telephone for potential hints to her girl.
The mother expressed, “Fortune went to class on Wednesday despite the fact that we had a little issue on Tuesday evening. I held onto her telephone since she shouldn’t take it to class and she shouldn’t have a SIM card. Yet, we saw that she had a SIM card. I was irate with her and I held onto the telephone.
“On Wednesday, she washed and went to class at New Era, Jakpa Road. After school, she used to go to an exercise nearby, right across the Jakpa Road. Yet, she didn’t get to the exercise that day. From school, she just vanished.
“I have answered to the Ekpan Police Station. They proclaimed her missing. We made distributions what not. She will be 14 in August.”
At the point when reached over the occurrence, the acting Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Bright Edafe, couldn’t affirm if the case was accounted for.
