The Body found in Epping Forest has been confirmed as the missing student Richard Okorogheye
Richard who had sickle cell diseases has been shielding through the pandemic.Richard was reported missing on March 22 and is believed to have left home near ladbroke Grove, west london, some few days later he was captured via CCTV.
Metropolitan Police confirmed that the information has been notified to the family of Okorogheye’s and were being supported by specially trained officers
The cause of the death is pending while further investigations are been carried out. On Wednesday, 7th of april a forensic post mortem was performed. Richard’s death is being investigated as unexplained though investigators do not suspect there was any third-party at this time. There was no sign of physical damage of attack.
Det Supt Danny Gosling said: ” My deepest sympathies go out to Richard’s Family at this incredibly difficult time, This was not the outcome that any of us had hoped for. I would like to extremnd my thanks to the many officers, staffs and members of the public who have played a part in the effort to locate richard”
