‘Lagos boy’ Toba Fagbami finds himself in a new school, in the ancient city of Ibadan. All his assumptions that South Western School is another typical secondary school are proven wrong, as soon as he gets there.

Toba soon gets involved in a power tussle going on in the school, struggling not to get lost in the sea.

All the interactions the students have slowly unmasks the darkness, pain, suffering and confusion they all share. Soon they all realize their relationships, fights, struggle for power and popularity are just facades. Deep down they are all messed up.
