LOVE Island’s Amber Gill has dumped her secret boyfriend after discovering he was jailed over a brutal nightclub attack.

The 23-year-old was first pictured with Rory Colhoun on holiday in Thailand last January.

One of Amber’s close friends told Mail Online that Amber and her boyfriend were in the early stages of their relationship, but later ended it after founding out her boyfriend Roy is in jail for 4 years since 2017. Roy was on trial after attacking two doormen at a nightclub. One was really injured and was sent to hospital. The attack took place in 2015 at Club Mission. Roy was 23 at that time. The victim was also the same age as Roy and was left in “critical condition”

Rory did not plead guilty in April 2017, but he was sentenced to three years and four months imprisonment. One of Amber’s friends told the Mail Online “Amber broke down today when she got told about Rory and his past. She did not know anything about it. She was still in the early stages of dating and this was a high shock to her when she found out.

“Understandably it’s caused her a great deal of upset and stress as it’s all come out of the blue.” They continued: “This has completely thrown Amber and she just wants to be surrounded by friends and family for their love and support.
