Chapter 9

Zara’s POV

Crunch!

Crunch!

My wedding is in three weeks and we are here shopping for my wedding dress. Nobody bothered to tell me that my wedding will in three weeks until this morning.

Imagine my horror when my mum woke me up this morning and told me that we are going shopping for my sari.

My frigging sari.

My wedding is in three weeks.

I only have three weeks to prepare for my wedding.

Who does that?

I have always wanted to be the one to sew my wedding dress but I never thought I wouldn’t even have enough time to prepare.

I have to make sketches first and then I have to get a good fabrics and…there are like a lot of things to do and three weeks won’t be enough.

Three weeks isn’t enough time to prepare for my wedding.

And that is why I am stress eating. I have consumed a total of three bags of caramel popcorn and I am currently eating my fourth bag.

Chapter 10

Zara’s POV.

I have been doing a lot of stressing these days.

I thought getting married or rather planning one’s marriage was supposed to be…fun? Stress free?

Planning my marriage has been anything but fun so far. I get worried about the smallest things.

It is so annoying.

I worried about getting the right color of Sari and then I had to pick a Kaftan for Jason, one that would match my dress.

Apparently we have to wear matching colour.

Of course you have to match, you dimwit.

I picked a red velvet cake that had a cream colored frosting and it was three steps.

My mum wanted to make it four steps but I thought that would be too much.

I let my mum worry about the catering stuffs.

I picked out the flowers I wanted for the decorations and I had to pick the perfect Mandap– Lucy helped with that.

I picked light pink flower to be used for the decorations and I left my mum to do the invitations stuff…too.

If it were up to me, this wedding wouldn’t be happening anytime soon but I don’t have a say in when I can have my wedding. So…my wedding is in two weeks time.

Yay!

“Soooo…” Lucy says bouncing lightly on my bed.

We are currently in my room doing nothing. By nothing, I meant scrolling through my Instagram feeds and stalking hot guys.
