Manchester United have confirmed that Amad Diallo’s transfer from Atalanta has now been finalised and he has signed a contract until June 2025 with the option of a further year.
The 18-year-old joined United on deadline day in the summer for a reported €21m, but the move was subject to a medical, work-permit and personal terms.
The club have now confirmed that those steps in the process have now been completed, and Diallo can begin training and playing with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team as soon as he has been granted a visa.
“After waiting since the summer, it is finally a dream come true to complete my move to ManchesterUnited,” the Ivorian told the club’s official website.
“I am hugely ambitious and there is so much that I want to achieve in the game; when I spoke to the manager I knew that I had joined the perfect club.
“I have had time to prepare for this move, both physically and mentally, and I have worked really hard to be ready to make the step up to this amazing club.”
The winger made five senior appearances for Atalanta, scoring one goal
